Everything lives under a home: documents, extracted details, dates, and vaults. Most people have one. If you own a second property or a rental, you can add an extra home from Dashboard → Add-ons.

You can rename a home anytime from the home's page — click the name and edit it.

Three ways to add documents, all in the "Add documents" button on a home or vault:

• Drop files — PDF, JPG, PNG, HEIC, or WebP, up to 25 MB each.
• Camera — snap a manual page, receipt, or serial plate from your phone.
• Email — every home has its own private inbound address. Forward a warranty confirmation or an invoice and it lands in your home automatically.

A good starting set: your HVAC or appliance manuals, your homeowners insurance policy, and the last year of service receipts. Ten minutes of uploading covers most of what you'll ever need to look up.

"Ask" is the orange panel on every home and vault. Type — or tap the mic and speak — a plain question: What size furnace filter do I need? When does my roof warranty end? Who serviced the water heater last?

Answers come with citations that link straight to the page of the document they came from, so you can verify anything in one click. Ask only searches your own documents — never the open internet.

As documents are processed, AskMyHome pulls out expiration and service dates — warranties, policy renewals, permits, filter changes — and turns them into reminders at 30, 7, 1, and 0 days out.

A vault is a scoped workspace with its own documents and its own Ask panel. The Emergency Vault is included free on every plan — put your water and gas shut-offs, breaker panel photo, insurance numbers, and emergency contacts there so anyone with access can find them in a crisis.

Additional vaults (Estate, Pet, Auto, Home Office, and more) unlock from Dashboard → Add-ons. Add-ons are prorated to your renewal date so everything bills on one day.

Invite people by email from a home's Share page. Three roles:

• Co-owner — everything an Editor can do, plus inviting and removing people. No billing access.
• Editor — upload, edit, and organize documents and dates.
• Viewer — read-only.

Invited people create a free account with the email you invited — they never need their own plan, and they only see the home you shared.

Refer a friend. Share your link from the home page. When someone you referred becomes a paying member, you get a vault free for 12 months. It stacks, with no cap.

Leave a review. One honest review per account, any rating, written right inside the app. The thank-you is 1 vault free for 12 months — your membership renewal date never changes.

Export everything anytime from Settings — documents plus the details we extracted, in a portable format, instantly and free. Delete individual documents or your whole account from the same place.
