The service
AskMyHome lets you upload documents about your home and get AI‑assisted answers, timelines, and reminders. AI answers can be wrong — always verify anything important (dates, dollar amounts, safety instructions) against the original document.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for anything that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old.
Subscriptions & billing
- Plans are billed annually in advance through Stripe.
- Founder's Circle ($199/yr) locks that price for the life of your subscription. It ends when the first 250 spots are claimed.
- The AskMyHome Annual plan starts with a 7‑day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then to avoid billing.
- Add‑ons (extra homes, vault unlocks) are prorated to your renewal date and renew with your subscription. Reward unlocks earned via referrals or reviews are lifetime.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. You can cancel any time from the billing portal.
Refunds
Because every eligible plan starts with a free trial giving you a full opportunity to evaluate AskMyHome before you are charged, all subscription purchases are final and non‑refundableonce billing begins. You can cancel any time and keep access through the end of your paid period.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to issue refunds in exceptional circumstances — for example duplicate charges, accidental double subscriptions, or a technical issue that prevented you from accessing the service. Email support@askmyhome.app and we will review it.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- Upload content you don't have the right to store.
- Attempt to reverse‑engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
- Use AskMyHome to store regulated data (PHI, PCI) beyond the ordinary receipts and policies a homeowner keeps.
- Resell or expose the service to third parties without a written agreement.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it so we can provide the service to you and the people you share your home with.
Referrals & affiliates
Customer referral rewards (one free month or one vault unlock per converted signup) are non‑cash. Affiliate partners earn $50 per annual sale via Rewardful under a separate agreement; a public referral link is not an affiliate contract.
Disclaimers
AskMyHome is provided "as is". We disclaim implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. AskMyHome is a personal knowledge tool, not legal, financial, medical, or safety advice.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be emailed to the address on your account at least 14 days before they take effect.
